Our vision is about our land, about re-dedicating that land to God – right Across Britain.
But the Across Britain vision is more than just Across the Land we live in.
It’s :
Across Boundaries
Walking from chapel to church, walking farms, parks, cities and villages.
Across the Divides
Sometimes churches don’t get on, don’t relate – perhaps for valid doctrinal reasons. But to meet outside, to go for a walk together – surely that’s achievable?
Across the Gaps
Sometimes people stop coming to church – we notice their absence but it’s difficult to re-connect. However these people could be asked to come for a walk to join in the blessing of their streets.
Across the Forgotten
It’s so easy to take our surroundings for granted. This is a time to ask God’s blessings on farmers and farms, on councils and parks, on housing estates and villages.
At Across Britain we see ourselves as coordinators and encouragers, connecting people together to make lots of local prayer walks fit together into a national picture to cover our land with prayer. You might already be doing this – fantastic, but can we act to link what you’re doing into a national picture and help encourage others to do the same.
Whoever you are, wherever you live its time to get up and declare this land is Gods land – ask your church and the church next door to join in, ask your neighbours, friends – and lets ask for Gods blessing right Across Britain.
